BILLINGS – Billings Central freshman forward Solei Elletson scored goals in the 3rd, 10th, and 69th minutes to help the Rams to a 5-0 win over Corvallis in a snowy Saturday State A girls soccer quarterfinal at Rocky Mountain College.
Elletson pounced on a loose ball in the box to put Central on the board in the 3rd, and then Zoie Althoff found the freshman on the right side of the Corvallis box to double the lead in the 10th.
Central peppered the Blue Devils the entire first half. Eventually, Corvallis made a mistake with an own goal in the 26th minute to make it 3-0 at halftime. Morgan Ferestad and Elletson added second-half goals.
The Rams advance to the State A semifinals for the 11th straight year. Central will host Whitefish next Saturday, while Belgrade travels to Laurel in the other semi.
