BILLINGS – Billings Skyview’s masterful girls’ soccer season continued Tuesday night at Daylis Stadium with a 3-0 win over Billings West.

Jordan Roe crossed the ball to Halle Labert for a quick 1-0 lead, which held up at halftime. Ashlyn Braun scored off a Kayla Mader assist to make it 2-0 just after break. In the 58th minute, Labert was fouled in the box and awarded a penalty kick, which she buried for a 3-0 lead.

Skyview’s girls improve to 12-0-0 with the win. They close the regular season Friday and Saturday with home matches against Great Falls High and CMR. The Falcons have already locked up the top seed in the Eastern AA and an automatic bye into the State AA tournament.

Tuesday’s match was the regular-season finale for West, which falls to 6-3-5 and holds a slim lead over Bozeman for the No. 2 seed and the East’s other automatic bye. Bozeman closes the regular season Thursday with a home match against winless Butte.

In the late match, Skyview’s Sean Comstock scored the only goal in a 1-0 win for the Falcons. Skyview improves to 5-4-2 while West drops to 8-6-0.
