Bozeman boys, girls soccer cruise past Great Falls High

BOZEMAN – The Bozeman boys and girls soccer teams both pitched clean sheets at home as they swept the Great Falls High Bison on Saturday afternoon. The Hawks boys team cruised to a 10-0 victory in the opening game and the Lady Hawks followed suit with a 6-0 win of their own.

On the boys side, Bozeman started quickly, senior Bergen Taylor started the scoring for the Hawks. Then midfielder Ben Taylor added two more goals in the 20th and 30th minute. By the end of the first half, the Hawks had a 5-0 lead.

But they continued in the second half, senior forward Ted Scott notched two goals in the second half as Bozeman put up another five goal half as they Hawks trounced the Bison 10-0.

On the girls side, the Lady Hawks started just as fast. Off a short corner cross, senior Ava Westphal deflected it into the net to put Bozeman up 1-0 in the 3rd minute. Scoring came from all over for the Hawks as Kylee Jones and Lucy Child both netted goals. Then senior forward Hana Scott added two more goals as the Lady Hawks also took a 5-0 lead into the break. They would add one more goal to finish a 6-0 victory.
