GREAT FALLS – The Great Falls CMR soccer teams hosted Butte at Seibel Fields on Thursday, with the Rustler boys defeating the Bulldogs 2-0, with goals scored by Blake Sowers and Kellen Borggard.
The girls game ended in a 4-4 tie. Brynn Klinefelter led CMR with two goals in the second half, Marti Ludwick led Butte with two goals in the second half, as well.
CMR will next face crosstown rival Great Falls High at Memorial Stadium on Sept. 6, with the girls game starting at 5 p.m. and the boys game at 7 p.m. Butte will host Great Falls High next on Sept. 1, with the girls game starting at 11 a.m. and the boys game at 1 p.m.
