GREAT FALLS – The high school Class AA boys and girls soccer season began on Saturday with the Great Falls Soccer jamboree at Seibel Fields.

Eight teams were in attendance, including Great Falls CMR, Great Falls High, Missoula Sentinel, Missoula Big Sky, Billings Senior, Billings West, Kalispell Glacier and Kalispell Flathead. The results from the matches don’t count toward the regular season, but this is a great learning chance for these squads to mesh as a whole and learn to play off one another as the regular season lies ahead.

“It’s great learning how to play with your team and getting to practice, ready to roll and readying up the year. It’s fun,” said sophomore Judah McAdam, who plays on defense for Great Falls High. “It’s just awesome to come and play with our team. Sometimes we have freshmen coming in and playing, and it’s good to start playing with them early. Plus, it’s good to come back another year and play with my teammates.”
