HAVRE — The Lewistown wrestling team took home a pair of dual wins on Saturday after defeating Simms and Havre.
The Golden Eagles dominated Simms 65-6 in the early bout.
Lewistown built an early advantage over Havre in the afternoon, leading 27-4 after the 145-pound match-up. However, the Blue Ponies responded and took a 31-26 lead into the heavyweight tilt (Lewistown lost a point with an unsportsmanlike penalty). In the heavyweight, Dylan Morris pinned Zale Thomas in the first round to seal it for the Eagles 32-31.
