RONAN — In the Western B girls basketball challenge game, it was the Missoula Loyola Breakers taking on the Deer Lodge Wardens.
From the start, Loyola looked it was in a position to control the pace of the game. A full-court press from Loyola forced Deer Lodge into a ton of turnovers throughout the game.
After a dominant first half, the Breakers took a 28-13 lead into the locker room.
In the second half, Loyola kept the offensive pacing and tough defense.
In the end, Loyola won 52-34 and with that, the Breakers head to the Class B state tournament next week in Belgrade.
