HELENA — The Helena High girls basketball team bounced back from its first loss of the season, cruising past visiting Kalispell Flathead on Saturday afternoon.
The Bengals raced out to a 32-15 lead by halftime and put the second half in cruise control, rolling to a 53-37 win.
Jamie Pickens led a trio of Bengals in double figures with 15. Payton Aasved finished with 12 and sister Paige Aasved had 11. Eight players scored for Helena.
Helena (15-1, 9-1 Western AA) visits Missoula Big Sky on Tuesday before its season finale against crosstown rival Helena Capital.
