HELENA — Kalispell Glacier was looking for its second upset in two nights, but Helena Capital held off the Wolfpack on Saturday afternoon, 41-32.
Capital Built a 13-5 lead after the first quarter and extended it to 20-11 by halftime. Glacier, though, battled back in the third quarter, trimming the Capital lead to 30-23. But Capital was able to put the clamps on the Wolfpack early in the fourth quarter to keep Glacier out of reach.
Paige Bartsch had her way inside for the Bruins, scoring a game-high 14 points and grabbing a handful of offensive rebounds. Emily Kidder added 11 for Capital. Ellie Keller had a team-high 11 for Glacier.
The Bruins (15-1, 9-1 Western AA) host Missoula Big Sky next Thursday before facing crosstown rival Helena High on Friday.
