Helena High, Capital girls basketball top Missoula Hellgate, Sentinel

HELENA– The Helena High Bengals girls basektball picked up team picked up their seventh conference win against the Missoula Hellgate Knights by a score of 46-34.

Lady Griz commit Jamie Pickens led the way for the Bengals with a near triple-double logging, 23 points, 18 rebounds and 8 steals.

The Bengals next game will come against the Missoula Sentinel Spartans in Missoula on Feb. 9.


HELENA– The Helena Capital Bruins beat out the Missoula Sentinel Spartans to gain their sixth win by a score of 55-33.

Montana Western commit Sydney Sheridan went off in the first quarter and scored 11 of her 14 points in the opening frame. Lexi Deden led Sentinel with 16 points.

The Capital Bruins will also head to Missoula on Saturday to take on the Hellgate Knights on Feb. 9.
