MISSOULA – The Missoula Loyola Breakers might have a young girls basketball team, but this year they’ve been more than impressive. Tuesday night, they looked to stay on track at home against the St. Ignatius Bulldogs.
In the first half, the Bulldogs’ Addison Arlint kept them in the game with eight first-half points. The Breakers still took a 34-19 point lead into the locker room.
In the second half, Loyola opened it up, especially on the defensive side. The Breakers got multiple turnovers that led to easy fast-break points.
In the end, Loyola won with ease, 67-44.
