MISSOULA – On Tuesday night, the Columbia Falls Wildkats girls basketball team traveled to Ronan looking for a big win over the Maidens.
In the first quarter, the Wildkats got out to a hot start, scoring a quick bucket, forcing Ronan to take an early timeout. The timeout didn’t help, as Columbia Falls continued its scoring tear, going on a 12-0 run to open the game. The Wildkats grew the lead to 20-8 by the end of the quarter.
In the second quarter, it was nearly the same as Columbia falls pushed the lead to 34-18 by the end of the half.
In the second half, Columbia Falls poured it on with the offense and took the big road win, 70-33.
