BILLINGS – Isabelle Erickson’s buzzer-beating 3-pointer to end the first quarter provided the early spark Billings Central needed for a 50-33 win over crosstown foe Billings Senior in girls basketball action on Tuesday night.
The Rams led 16-7 after that shot and increased it to 28-14 at halftime. Senior battled back with a big third quarter to draw within 37-30, but Central opened the fourth on a 10-0 run to put it away.
Senior (3-7) was held to three points in the final quarter. The Broncs play at Billings Skyview Friday night at 7 p.m.
The Rams improve to 10-2 and play at Skyview Saturday in a 2 p.m. tipoff.
