BILLINGS – Great Falls High converted lay-up after lay-up in the fourth quarter, as the Lady Bison cruised to a 47-34 win over Billings Senior on Friday night.
The Bison defense stood tall all night, as Senior did not reach the 20-point mark until midway through the third quarter. Great Falls led 34-24 heading into the final quarter.
The Lady Broncs cut the margin to seven points but they could get no closer. Great Falls shut the door by turning the game into a lay-up line.
Jorgie Hawthorne and Erin Watts traded easy buckets as the Bison quickly regained their double-digit margin. Great Falls now sits at 2-6 on the season.
