SIMMS – The Simms basketball teams hosted Great Falls Central on Friday, Jan. 11 in Class C action.
For the girls matchup, it was a tight game throughout, with Simms leading most of the way until the fourth quarter. Great Falls Central would take the lead and not give it back, as the Lady Mustangs picked up a big road win, 47-39.
Lauren Wilkins led the way for Central with 13 points, Sydney Hill picked up 9. For Simms, the Tigers were led by Elyssa Willekes, who finished with 10 points.
Great Falls Central would find another win in the boys game, as the Mustangs came away with an 83-48 victory. Luke Marmon led all scorers with 19 points, Isaac Armstrong finished with 16 and Noah Ambuehl had 15.
