BILLINGS – Billings West allowed just 18 total points through three quarters and had three players scores in double figures in a 59-38 win over rival Billings Senior Saturday afternoon at the Golden Dome.
Senior took a 6-3 lead in the first quarter, and then West scored the final 12 points of the quarter as they marched out to what became an insurmountable lead. West led 29-12 at halftime and pushed the advantage to 36-12 early in the third.
TyRaa Manuel led the Bears with 14 points, while Shayla Montague added 13. Shea Dolan chipped in 10, with TyLee Manuel at eight points. Ellie Ostermiller led the Broncs with 14, while Bailey King added 10.
The win moves West to 6-0 on the season and 2-0 in the Eastern AA. It is Senior’s fifth straight loss after a season-opening win at Missoula Big Sky.
