Noxon’s Levi Brubaker capping busy week with 6-Man all-star game

CUSTER — Noxon’s Levi Brubaker has been one busy guy the past week.

Brubaker competed at the State C track and field meet in Laurel on Friday and Saturday, placing second in the triple jump and fourth in long jump, before returning home to Noxon to graduate on Sunday. His time at home was quick, though, as Brubaker got back on the road to head to Custer for the 6-Man all-star game.

“It’s been absolutely insane, considering that I came down to Laurel just two days ago,” he said. “I drove all the way back, graduated, and then had a senior all-nighter. Got one day of rest and then back at it again out here. … I’ve been trying to rest up while traveling, but it gets difficult, for sure.”

Brubaker and the Blue team take on the Red team on Saturday night in Custer with kickoff set for 7:10 p.m. Full rosters of the 2019 6-Man all-star game can be found here.
