GREAT FALLS – The Great Falls High boys used a big fourth quarter to pull away in a 63-50 win over Helena High on Thursday night in Class AA action.
The Bison led 40-36 after three quarters in a back and forth affair and outscored the Bruins 23-14 in the final frame to improve to 4-0 on the season.
Bison senior Kyle Torgerson led all scorers with 18 points in the win. Blake Thelen and Keegan Bistodeau added 14 apiece. Pierce Brown led the Bengals with 14 points in defeat.
Great Falls High now takes a break for the holidays before resuming play with a non-conference clash against Helena Capital on Jan. 5. The Bengals (2-3) will next face Great Falls CMR after the new year.
