GREAT FALLS — Another of Montana’s best in-state recruits made his college decision Monday night. Blake Thelen is trading in blue and silver for blue and gold.
The Great Falls High quarterback post his commitment to Montana State on his Twitter account less than 48 hours before the start of the NCAA early signing period. MTN Sports confirmed the news.
As a senior, Thelen led the Bison to their first playoff appearance since 2010, passing for a school-record 3,005 yards and 28 touchdowns while rushing for eight more scores.
Thelen is the 14th member of the Bobcats’ 2019 recruiting class and the eighth in-state recruit. Thelen will sign his national letter of intent at a ceremony at Great Falls High School on Wednesday morning.
