WORDEN — Roundup trailed Huntley Project 22-8 in the first half but rallied for a 38-28 win in Class B football action Friday night. The Panthers clinched the Eastern B conference title and the conference’s No. 1 seed in the playoffs.

Huntley Project looked like it could end Roundup’s unbeaten season early in the game, building a 16-8 lead on a 40-yard touchdown catch by Austin Aman. The Red Devils added on to their lead on a 40-yard touchdown run by Chris Hust.

But Roundup’s Brody Grebe wasn’t going to let the dreams of an unbeaten season die. Grebe started Roundup’s rally with a 45-yard scamper to pay dirt. Grebe wasn’t done, as his second touchdown rushing touchdown of the game gave Roundup the lead.

Leading late in the game, Roundup put the final nail in the coffin when Makale Kembel found the edge on the sweep to get into the end zone. Roundup will be the Eastern B’s No. 1 seed and will host the North No. 4 seed Cut Bank in the opening round of the Class B playoffs.
