HAMILTON — Hamilton will roll into the Class A playoffs unbeaten after throttling Dillon, 40-0, in Class A football action Friday night.

The Broncs got things started quickly when quarterback Carson Rostad found Tucker Jones for Rostad’s first passing touchdown of the game. After Camron Rothie intercepted Dillon quarterback Justus Peterson, Rothie capitalized with a touchdown reception from Rostad.

Again Dillon drove into Hamilton territory, but a turnover derailed its drive. Peterson was intercepted again, this time by Rostad. Again, Hamilton rewarded the man with the takeaway. Rostad punctuated Hamilton’s drive with a designed quarterback keeper to give the Broncs a 20-0 lead.

Hamilton’s defense proved stout the remainder of the game, too, shutting out the Beavers 40-0. Hamilton enters the Class A playoffs as the Southwestern A’s No. 1 seed and will have a bye in the first round.
