BUTTE — Jace Klucewich came up big when it mattered most, helping Frenchtown to a 14-0 win over Butte Central to remain unbeaten on the season. The Broncs improved to 6-0 overall and 2-0 in the Southwestern A.
After a turnover-plagued first half, which saw seven combined turnovers by the Broncs and Maroons, Klucewich dashed into the end zone from 10 yards out to put Frenchtown up 7-0. The sensational sophomore added a punt return touchdown in the fourth quarter to ice the game for the Broncs.
Frenchtown added an interception in the final minute of the game, the 10th total turnover of the contest.
Butte Central falls to 2-3 overall, 0-2 in conference play.
