GREAT FALLS — For the second consecutive week, the Great Falls Central Mustangs football team shut its opponent out. The Mustangs were dominant from the opening kickoff, leaving little doubt on their way to a 61-0 win over visiting Hays-Lodgepole.

Leading 7-0 early in the first quarter, Mustangs corner Ethan Vincent returned an interception 36 yards to put Great Falls Central up 14-0. Riley Dickinson and Matt Mendenhall tacked on a pair of rushing touchdowns to give Great Falls Central a 27-0 lead at the end of the first quarter. The Mustangs pushed their lead to 48-0 by halftime.

Dickinson had four rushing touchdowns on the day, as Great Falls Central was in cruise control during the second half. The defense for Great Falls Central has yet to allow a point this season. The Mustangs shut out Twin Bridges, 46-0, last week. They have outscored their opponent 107-0 through the first two games.

Great Falls Central gets a test next weekend when it hosts Belt.
