BOZEMAN — The Bozeman High soccer teams swept Belgrade in their second doubleheader this season on Tuesday, getting clean sheets against the Panthers. The Bozeman girls got a 2-0 win, while the Bozeman boys got a 9-0 win.

In the girls game, Bozeman scored a goal early and wouldn't score again until late in the second as it would finally put the game away as Payton Putnam received a beautiful pass in front of the net, then made the easy goal.

The with the 2-0 win, the Hawks are now 6-2 on the season.

In the boys game, Belgrade goalkeeper Shay Schoolcraft was a man on a mission in the first half. Bozeman had possession of the ball for what seemed like the whole half, but Schoolcraft stopped shot after shot.

He could only hold off the Hawks for so long, though, as Joshua Angell would finally kick it in for a 1-0 Bozeman lead 30 minutes in.

With seconds left in the first half, Angell dished it to Drew Johnson, who rocketed one in corner pocket to make it 2-0.

That would be more than enough, as Bozeman went on to win 9-0 and improve to 7-1 on the season.
