HAVRE — The 33rd Annual Hi-Line Invitational Tournament will open Thursday night at the Armory Gymnasium in Havre.
The Class A girls and Class C girls will open the action at 5:30 p.m. The Class A boys and Class C boys will follow at 7:00 p.m.
The tournament, originally founded by Babsie Bishop, is hosted by the MSU-Northern men’s and women’s basketball teams and will feature five MontanaSports.com state tournament Most Valuable Players.
State tournament MVP’s who are set to be in action include Kyndall Keller (Class A-Havre High School), Chrishon Dixon (Class A-Billings Central), Imani Bighorn (Class B-Wolf Point), Joelnell Momberg (Class C-Box Elder), and Caleb Bellach (Class C-Manhattan Christian).
The tournament will also feature 11 players who were named to last year’s HIT All-Star teams.
The slam dunk and 3-point contests will take place at 5:00 p.m. on Friday night. Championship games are slated for 3:00 (girls) and 4:30 p.m. (boys) on Saturday.
