Great Falls High boys finish regular season with win over Billings Skyview

GREAT FALLS – The Great Falls High boys basketball team already clinched the number 1 seed out of the east for AA Divisionals heading into the final regular season game against Billings Skyview on Saturday, February 23rd at the Swarthout Fieldhouse.

The Bison got out to a fast 17-2 start in the first quarter and didn’t look back in a 68-46 victory to end the regular season on a high note. Great Falls High shot lights out, nailing 12 three-point shots in the game. The Bison were led by senior Kyle Torgerson, who led all scorers with 22 points and 4 three-point shots. Sophomore Drew Wyman picked up 14 points. Skyview was led by Julius Mims with 9 points.

Great Falls High finishes the regular season 15-3 and 10-2 in Eastern AA play, Billings Skyview drops to 10-8 and 6-6 in Eastern AA play. Up next for the two squads will be AA Divisionals hosted at Great Falls CMR starting on Thursday, February 28th and lasting until Saturday, March 2nd.
