BOZEMAN – The Bozeman Hawks boys basketball team defeated the top squad in the Eastern AA, Great Falls High, defeating the Bison 62-48 at home on Friday night.
The Hawks, who sit at 11-4 (6-3 Eastern AA) and third in the conference, dominated in the game, never surrendering a lead for the entire four quarters. Three Bozeman players scored in double digits, led by Ryan Lonergan, who had 21 points and eight rebounds.
Blake Thelen also posted 21 points for Great Falls High (12-3, 7-2 Eastern AA), while adding on nine rebounds.
