BILLINGS – The Great Falls High Bison outscored Billings Skyview 14-7 in the third quarter to turn a one-point halftime deficit into a 58-51 road win Friday night.
Skyview gave the Eastern AA leaders all they could handle in the first half, taking a 30-29 into the break. But Great Falls’ pressure defense stifled the Falcons in the second half, allowing the Bison to pull away.
Great Falls stays perfect in conference, moving to 6-0 halfway through its schedule. The Bison are 11-1 overall, with their only loss coming to Helena Capital on Jan. 5. Skyview falls to 7-5, 3-3 with the loss.
The Falcons host Great Falls CMR Saturday, while the Bison are at Billings West. Both games start at 2:30 p.m.
