Melstone’s Brody Grebe already surpassed the 2,000-point milestone this basketball season, but the senior star continues to pile on points on the Class C basketball courts.
Grebe has the Broncs off to a 11-1 record overall, 9-0 in District 4C play and added another high-scoring achievement to his already impressive senior year. Grebe poured in 38 points Friday night against Hobson-Moore-Judith Gap in a 76-50 win. He also added a handful of dunks over the weekend, with two coming Saturday night in a 69-29 rout of Ekalaka.

Grebe has crossed the 30-point threshold five times this season, second only to Choteau’s Sayer Patton, according to statistics sent to the MTN Sports team.
Thursday night saw a new top scorer on the girls basketball courts, as Cascade’s Georgia Mortag lit up the scoreboard for 39 points in a 58-43 victory over Dutton-Brady, nearly outscoring the Diamondbacks on her own. Mortag surpassed Box Elder’s Joelnell Momberg, who scored 37 points one week prior.
