BILLINGS – Make it four straight wins for West High’s basketball guys after holding off Butte Saturday, 61-54 in Billings.
Both teams turned in some offensive runs. West led 14-8 after one quarter and led by as many as 10, but Butte cut it to 32-28 at the break.
Butte battled to draw within 48-47 after three before West pulled away to win by seven.
The Bears improve to 6-3, 3-1 and face Bozeman next week. Butte falls to 1-7, 0-4 in the Eastern AA.
