BUTTE – Frenchtown had the tough task on Friday of heading to the MAC (Maroon Activity Center) to try and be the first team this season to take down the Class A powerhouse Butte Central Maroons.
Frenchtown, though, couldn’t keep up with Central’s relentless defense and efficient offense. The Maroons picked up contributions from their regulars, like Cade Holter, but Trevor Neumann and Patrick Dolan sealed what was a dominating 60-26 win. Patrick Dolan was brought in with about three minutes to go in the game and proceeded to knock down the first 3 he took.
Butte Central will suit up again not even 24 hours later as they host Stevensville in the MAC on Saturday at 4 p.m.
