Billings West runs past Sheridan after sluggish start

BILLINGS – The Billings West Golden Bears turned up the pressure in the second half and ran right by Sheridan as they rolled to a 58-41 victory on Friday night at the Golden Dome.

West only led 29-23 at the break and that deficit was quickly cut in half after a Tristan Bower three.

It was all West after that. Sheridan put on the full-court pressure, but the West guards burned it time after time.

Josh Erbacher, Cade Tyson, Kade Wilcox and Jesse Owens all deposited easy lay-ups as West turned a three-point lead into a 17-point win.

The Golden Bears now turn their attention to the city rivalry with Billings Skyview. That game is scheduled for next Thursday at 7:00 p.m..
