MISSOULA – The Bigfork boys basketball team went undefeated in the 2017-2018 season and capped it off with a state title.
So far in 2018, the Vikings haven’t dropped a step. They are 5-0 and have already taken on some tough opponents.
Earlier this week, Bigfork visited a Missoula Loyola team that presented a big challenge, but the Vikings came away with the win.
Head coach Sam Tudor says the Tuesday win was a big boost, and now he wants another over Columbia Falls before Christmas break.
“Loyola is tough and they are going to be tough,” Tudor said. “We’re going to play them at least two more times and it’s just good to be tested. It’s good for us and it’s good for them. So I’m looking forward to another one down the line, that was a fun one. We have Columbia Falls next week, (Class A) school. It will be tough. Just keep improving, that’s what we keep saying.”
