Fairfield basketball splits doubleheader with Choteau

FAIRFIELD – It was rivalry basketball in Fairfield, as the Eagles’ teams welcomed in the Choteau Bulldogs on Tuesday.

The Fairfield boys defeated Choteau, 81-57. The Eagles broke out to a big lead in the first half and didn’t let up. Fairfield was led by junior Keeley Bake, who finished with 26 points. Choteau was led by Sayer Patton’s 24 points.

It was a closer game in the girls matchup. It went back and fourth in the first half with Choteau only leading by two at halftime. But the Bulldogs pulled away in the second half and won, 35-27.
