BUTTE – The Butte High boys basketball team looked to get on a winning streak as the Bulldogs welcomed in the Helena Capital Bruins to the Butte Civic Center on Tuesday evening.

Capital, however, had other ideas. Early on, open shots and easy drives got the Bruins out to an 11-0 lead. Brady Martin and Trevor Swanson were key contributors in the Bruins’ early success. Butte High’s Kash Kelly did all he could to facilitate on offense. He found Trevyn Roth, who hit the ensuing open 3-pointer for what was the Bulldogs’ best look of the entire first quarter.

The Bruins dominated all game long and rolled in the Civic Center by a final of 65-34.
