Missoula Hellgate uses strong second half to top Bozeman

BOZEMAN – Missoula Hellgate boys basketball handed Bozeman their first loss of the season 67-61 on the road Friday night. The Knights trailed by seven at the half, but used a strong 12-0 run in the third quarter to take a 54-46 lead and never looked back.

Hellgate’s Rollie Worster led all scorers with 27 points, while also adding 4 assists. Bridger Deden added 19 points for the Knights. Hellgate shot 47.8% in the first half, but switched the script in the second hitting 15 of their 19 field gials (78.9%)

For Bozeman Ryan Simpson had a team-high 17 points. The 6’6″ senior was deadly from long range going 5-8 from three.
