GREAT FALLS – The Great Falls High boys basketball team hosted Kalispell Flathead to begin the season on Friday. The Bison started out fast and didn’t look back, leading by 30 at halftime before coming away with a 79-45 victory.
Kyle Torgerson led all scorers with 21 points. Riley Callery had 15 points, and Keegan Bistodeau added 13 for the Bison. Anthony Jones led the Braves with 9 points.
Great Falls High (1-0) will host Kalispell Glacier next on Saturday, while Flathead (0-1) will head to play Great Falls CMR the same day.
