STRONGSVILLE, OH – Mika Jahnke and Kendall Parker each scored two goals to lead Team Texas to a 9-1 win over the Missoula Lady Bruins in the second round of the USA Hockey National Girls High School Championship Tournament at OBM Arena in Strongsville, Ohio.

Missoula freshman Shaye Ewing scored first just 40 seconds into the game, but the Lady Bruins couldn’t find the back of the net against the state-wide, all-star, 20-person team with five Division I recruits. After giving up five goals in the first period, Missoula held Team Texas to two goal in both the second and third periods. Junior goalie Aubrey McKay had 26 saves on the game. Texas outshot Missoula 35-7.

The Lady Bruins dropped to 21-13-2 and will play Anchorage (AK) on Saturday, March 30 at 9:30 am (EDT).
