Laurel girls, boys dominate Sidney

LAUREL – Chalk up another sweep at the Rail Yard.

Laurel’s basketball girls used a suffocating defense to run past Sidney 59-19 on Friday night.

The Locos held the Eagles to 6 points in the first half as they took a commanding 37-6 lead into halftime. Their defense did not let up in the second. In fact, it only improved in the fourth quarter as they pitched a shutout.
