MISSOULA – Missoula Loyola’s outstanding start to the season continued with another 6B conference victory on Friday night. The Breakers ran past Anaconda, 55-34.
Loyola’s young, talented squad caused plenty of problems for the Copperheads with a full court press early. And the Breakers also hit plenty of shots from the three-point line. They sprinted to a 26-10 lead after one quarter.
The scoring slowed down after the first eight minutes, but the Breakers never lost their advantage. Loyola led 33-17 at halftime, and cruised to the final victory.
