FLORENCE – On Friday night, the Stevensville Yellowjackets traveled to Florence to take on the Falcons boys and girls.
In the girls game, it wasn’t close the entire time. Florence came out playing stellar defense, followed by consistent scoring. In the fourth quarter, the Falcons barely scored but sealed the deal with lock down full-court pressure and great rim defense. The Falcons won, 57-30.
In the boys game, it was much closer but a low scoring game. In the first quarter, it took both teams a few minutes to get going, as the first bucket wasn’t scored until 1:30 into the game. Both teams played lock down defense, but Stevensville came out on top, 41-38.
