BUTTE – A technical difficulty has delayed the official results for Butte High’s first swim meet of the season. Unofficially, it appears as if Butte High won the dual over Helena.
Butte High opened up the meet with a team win in the girls 200-yard medley.
Helena would take the boys 200-yard medley.
The first individual event was the 200-yard freestyle, and on the girls side Butte’s Devin Amtmann finished first, and on the boys side it was Helena’s Shawn Moore edging out the competition.
Catherine Russo would get another point for Butte winning the 200-yard I-M, and Jacob Demmons won the 50-yard freestyle on the boys side for Helena.
