BEGLRADE — The Polson Pirates boys soccer team is heading to the Class A state championship match after beating Belgrade 1-0 on Saturday.
This was a rematch of the 2017 semifinals when Belgrade beat Polson for a spot in the title game..
Saturday’s game was scoreless until the 62nd minute when Polson’s Robin Erickson found the back of the goal to put the Pirates up.
Both teams had shots on goal the entire game, but it was Polson advancing to the Class A state championship against Whitefish.
