CHICAGO — After helping lead Kalispell Glacier to the Class AA state quarterfinals last fall, forward Cadie Williams was named the Montana Gatorade girls soccer player of the year on Monday.
Williams finished her senior season with 33 goals and 14 assists. She scored at least one goal in 15 of the Wolfpack’s 18 games, tallying seven hat tricks. Williams was named the Western AA’s player of the year and is a two-time first-team all-state selection. She scored 58 goals and recorded 31 assists during her career with the Wolfpack.
“Cadie creates and converts opportunities with precision and efficiency,” said Helena Capital coach Lindsey Gilstrap. “She is an impact player that can dictate the outcome of a game.”
Williams is the first Gatorade girls soccer player of the year from Glacier. Bozeman’s Alexa Coyle won the award last year.
