HIGHWOOD – – The Blue team jumped out to a 32-0 lead in the first half of the 22nd Annual 6-Man All-Star game in Highwood and never looked back, cruising to a 70-28 win over the Red Team. The win marked the fourth straight for the Blue Team in the series.
Big Sandy’s Weston Allderdice was named the Blue Team offensive MVP, rushing 15 times for 119 yards and three touchdowns. Shad Mack of Terry was the defensive MVP, with seven total tackles and two interceptions.
Trever Vandenbos of Valier was the Red Team defensive MVP with nine tackles, while Bridger’s Colter Zentner claimed offensive honors, leading the team in passing (211 yards, 1TD) and rushing (95 yards, 1TD). The 6-Man game alternates every year between Highwood and Custer and will shift to the eastern part of the state in 2019.
Sunburst’s Treyton Pickering hauled in four passes for 36 yards and two touchdowns for the Blue Team while Valier’s Colten Curry caught two balls for 91 yards and a touchdown.
