BELGRADE – The Florence Falcons have dominated at the State B-C state softball tournament, advancing to the title game on Friday afternoon. They began the second day by downing Huntley Project 6-1 and followed up with 10-0 thrashing of Missoula Loyola. The Falcons remain the only undefeated team in the tournament and have only allowed four runs in three games. Florence will face the winner of Missoula Loyola and Huntley Project.
With double elimination, the victor between the Breakers and the Red Devils must beat the Falcons twice in order to raise the trophy.
Loyola and Huntley Project square off Saturday at 9 a.m. The championship will be played at 11 a.m. and an additional game at 1 p.m. if needed.
