BUTTE – The 35th Bob Cleverley 8-Man All-Star Game will kick off at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 2 at Montana Tech’s Alumni Coliseum.
Drummond-Philipsburg, which defeated Forsyth for the 2017 8-Man state championship, will feature two players and coach Mike Cutler on the Blue Team. Titans Colton Grange and Andrew Gomez will join forces on the field one last time.
Forsyth, meanwhile, will have seven players on the Red Team, which will be led by Dogies coach Shawn Hollowell. Caleb Knoche, Logan Martens, Nathan Weber, Lex Heberle, Mickey Bidwell, Cade Johnstone and Paul Johnstone were selected for the annual all-star game.
The Blue Team won the 2017 game, 32-16. Gavin McKitrick of Ennis was named the Blue Team’s offensive MVP, while Shawn Schaefferkoetter of Wibaux earned the Blue Team’s defensive MVP.
