BELGRADE – Postseason tennis kicked off on Thursday as the Southeast B-C Division held its girls divisional tournament in Belgrade on Thursday afternoon. Five schools competed in the event: Lone Peak, Whitehall, Townsend, Jefferson and Three Forks.

In doubles, Lone Peak’s KP Hoffman and Solae Swenson have advanced to the championship without dropping a single set. They square off against Leia Schritz and Taylor Noyes of Whitehall in the championship game. The Trojan duo lost just a total of four games on the route to a title appearance.

The semifinals have been set in the singles division. Jefferson’s Renee Yu will take on Charlie Smith of Townsend for a berth in the finals. The winner will face the victor of another Jefferson/Townsend matchup on the bottom side of the bracket. Panther Leah Vossler will take on Jess Barnett in the semifinals.

Semifinal and championship games are slated for Friday morning, however weather could postpone the events.
