GREAT FALLS – Great Falls High, Great Falls CMR, Kalispell Flathead and Kalispell Glacier cruised through Day 1 of the Northern AA tennis divisional in Great Falls on Thursday, advancing through semifinals with rain expected to affect play on Friday.

Championship matches are set for all four divisions. MacKenzie George (CMR) will face Maria Frampton (Glacier) in the girls singles final. Andrew Davidson (GFH) is set to go up against Rory Smith (Glacier) for boys singles honors.

CMR duo Ally Dube and Lauren Rich was the top seed coming in and will take on Glacier’s McKenna Johnson and Maggie Rudbach for the girls doubles title. Boys doubles finalists were not available at the time of this post.

The action is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. at the CMR courts, but will move to the indoor courts at Meadowlark Country Club if there is rain.
