HELENA – The Western AA champion Helena Capital softball team swept the season series with crosstown rival Helena High on Tuesday night, winning the teams’ final regular-season meeting 9-0.
Madison Davis knocked in three runs for the Bruins and Taylor Mathews came in right behind her with two. Meanwhile, winning pitcher Shelby Martin had an outstanding game with 14 strikeouts.
